The Artura GT4 represents McLaren Motorsport’s latest race car, designed to dominate various GT4 series competitions, featuring a lightweight carbon fibre chassis, cutting-edge aerodynamics, and a 585 bhp 3.0L V6 racing engine. Ascher Racing partnered with Renvale, experts in electronic design and custom wiring loom solutions for Motorsports, and McLaren, a name in racing that needs no introduction to produce their latest work of sim racing art.

A 300mm diameter wheel, with highly revised, ergonomic PVC / rubber grips, you have the best of both worlds. A wheel ready to go GT racing with the flexibility of a wheel that can be used for fast and furious Formula racing sessions too.

Premium quality

The Artura Pro version shares the same materials and build quality as the Ultimate version, with a sleek black anodized brushed finish, precision-machined automotive-grade aluminium with the McLaren logo laser etched on the face plate.

The aesthetics of the wheel are a testament to the engineering investment Ascher have put in to their newest product. The front plate has a brushed finish, while the paddle surfaces are glass bead blasted. Aesthetics lead to a nicely textured wheel that is as satisfying to look at as it is to hold.

Gen 6 magnetic double paddle shifters

On the back of the wheel, you’ll find Ascher Racing’s “Generation 6” Motorsport grade clutch and shift paddles. The 6th generation of magnetic double paddle shifter bodies are quiet, smooth and very intuitive to work with.

Your muscle memory will soon adapt to the shift points and the clutch, which features “Individually adjustable resistance and precise bite-point calibration”. The adjustability and precision make this wheel very much a professional eSports product.

USB (cable) and SC version (Wireless for Simucube wheel bases only)

There are two options for the Artura Pro, the SC version and the USB version. The SC version is Simucube wireless only, with an onboard 1200mAh rechargeable lithium battery.

The main differences lie in the advanced features of the USB version, such as animated backlighting and adjustable encoder pulse width. The SC version prioritises wireless connectivity and compatibility with Simucube wheelbases. The power supply and connection methods also vary between the two versions.

While there are differences, both the SC version and the USB version feature configurable button mapping, much like any other sim steering wheel.

Power supply:

USB version: Powered via USB, with no need for a separate PSU (low power consumption of only max. 500mA). Asetek owners can use the Asetek QR hub which powers the wheel without a cable.
SC version: Powered by a rechargeable 1200mAh lithium battery. Offers up to 30 hours of battery life with lights disabled.

USB Version: Non-Linear curve calibration available. Clutch bite point calibration in 0.1% & 1.0% steps, analogue input mode selectable and quick calibration of the analogue clutch axes directly on the steering wheel.
SC Version: Bite point calibration in 0.1% and 1.0% steps & 12-pos rotary mode switch
