Cube Controls F-Core
The Cube Controls F-Core steering wheel offers an unparalleled level of assignability, providing sim racers with four rotaries, two toggle switches, and an array of momentary push buttons. This latest offering from Cube Controls includes two “funky switches” and two optional clutch paddles, making your experience in the simulator a highly customizable one indeed.
The F-Core can be used as a wireless wheel via its Bluetooth connectivity. Bluetooth allows for extra features (more buttons and inputs!) thanks to the extra bandwidth made available by switching away from Simucube’s proprietary “Simucube Wireless” technology.
The button layout of the F-Core is highly intuitive, with large, easy-to-reach colourful buttons and a nice, tactile sensation on each press. Cube Controls’ latest design provides a practical and immersive experience, with a layout that’s easy to memorise. The injection-moulded button shrouds make the F-Core a “VR friendly” sim steering wheel, adding to its flexibility of use and overall appeal.
Constructed with a one-piece die-cast aluminium housing and a thick carbon fibre front plate, the F-Core offers a solid, lightweight design with zero flex. The quality of the finish is as you would expect from a premium sim racing wheel manufacturer, with a thick glossy carbon faceplate and a hand-painted Cube Controls logo embossed on the front. The F-Core also features a pair of countersunk clutch paddles (optional) slightly below the surface of the aluminium body, making a perfect launch from the grid an effortless task.
Compatibility is not an issue with the F-Core, as it provides both Bluetooth and wired USB connectivity. Sim racers can enjoy the freedom of wireless Bluetooth connectivity (with any wheelbase), and/or use the magnetic USB Q-CONN cable for a wired connection directly to their PC.
The wheel can be mounted easily to any hub with either a 6x70mm PCD or 50mm PCD bolt pattern thanks to Cube Controls’ excellent Universal Hub Mount, supplied fitted to the back of the wheel.
